Operating in Constant Power Mode (CV+CC), these drivers deliver a stable 12V Constant Voltage output with a Constant Current limiting region to protect sensitive LED modules. What Is Constant Power Mode (CV+CC)? (And Why It Matters)
The XLG series utilizes Constant Power Mode topology. This means the driver maintains constant power across a wide output voltage and current range, ensuring stable operation even if the LED forward voltage shifts due to extreme UAE temperature changes. Furthermore, it features a Constant Current (CC) limiting region (8.4~12V). If an overload or short circuit occurs, the driver seamlessly transitions into this CC region to limit the current, preventing the driver from shutting down and protecting the LEDs from thermal runaway.

Note: The "75", "100", and "200" in the model names refer to the series maximum at higher voltages. The 12V variants are current-limited to 60W, 96W, and 192W respectively. Never run a driver at 100% continuous load in UAE summer heat. Always apply a 1.15× safety factor.

Potentiometer Adjustment: How It Works
The XLG 12V series features a small potentiometer dial on the housing to fine-tune the output current (Amps), allowing you to match the exact current requirements of your LED modules:
- Power off the driver and allow capacitors to discharge.
- Remove the rubber sealing plug on the output end.
- Use a small flat-head screwdriver to adjust the dial. Measure the output current with a multimeter while adjusting.
- Replace the rubber sealing plug firmly to maintain the IP67 rating.
⚠️ Critical: Never leave the potentiometer access open in outdoor installations. Losing the rubber plug voids dust/water protection and the warranty.
Installation Overview
- Calculate load: Sum all 12V LED wattage. Multiply by 1.15. Select 60W, 96W, 150W, or 192W.
- Mount: Install in a ventilated outdoor enclosure using built-in chassis ears. Maintain 50mm clearance.
- AC input: Wire L, N, PE to terminal block. Use 1.5mm² cable.
- DC output: Wire V+ and V- to LEDs.
- Seal: Confirm rubber plug is fully seated. Close junction box.
