What Is Constant Power Mode (CV+CC)? (And Why It Matters)

The XLG series utilizes Constant Power Mode topology. Furthermore, it features a Constant Current (CC) limiting region (8.4~12V). Potentiometer Adjustment: How It Works

The XLG 12V series features a small potentiometer dial on the housing to fine-tune the output current (Amps), allowing you to match the exact current requirements of your LED modules:

  1. Power off the driver and allow capacitors to discharge.
  2. Remove the rubber sealing plug on the output end.
  3. Use a small flat-head screwdriver to adjust the dial. Measure the output current with a multimeter while adjusting.
  4. Replace the rubber sealing plug firmly to maintain the IP67 rating.

⚠️ Critical: Never leave the potentiometer access open in outdoor installations. Losing the rubber plug voids dust/water protection and the warranty.

Installation Overview

  1. Calculate load: Sum all 12V LED wattage. Multiply by 1.15. Select 60W, 96W, 150W, or 192W.
